Evening Standard Schools Football League

The Nike Boot Room London The Evening Standard's Schools Football League includes teams at the selected team level located within the readership area of the Evening Standard Newspaper in London and the South East.  The Leagues can also be found on the Evening Standard website - www.standard.co.uk. There will be updates in the Evening Standard Newspaper each Tuesday and Team of the Month and Team of the Year awards, announced on the first Tuesday of the month. The winning schools will be selected by the Evening Standard based on improvement rather than pure ranking, and will win prizes of special training shirts provided by Nike.

If you wish to nominate your 1stXI team for this award please email schoolsfootball@standard.co.uk with brief reasons why the team deserves the award.

The league is based on the accumulation of wins, ranking teams with the best playing record. Teams playing 4 matches or more appear in the league.

If your school's results are not fully shown, ask your school's sports teacher to visit www.SchoolsSports.com where they will find details on how to become a member school and how to upload information.
